Hi there,

sorry for disturbing you all again as you people are the source of my only diy yourself i just wanna to know how did u pop out the cps?? so far im luckily able to take the screw off with allan key but that cps it self is not poping out so could u plz guide me what to do to take it out i tried pliers to pull out the cps but its not even moving hence i have taken the screw off, is there any other bolt on that cps that holding it tight or am i not using enough power to pop it up its w210 e 200 1998 thanks in advance

Hi, Legendary65, welcome to the forum. Please click the User CP link and complete your BW profile re: vehicle and location as that is often useful information.

If you are 100% sure you removed the correct screw/bolt for the CPS and have disconnected the wire connector (to prevent damaging the connector or wire) then it should just pull out. You can twist it back and forth a bit to help break it loose if necessary. I wouldn't use any petroleum-based product to try to help but you can spray around the base of it with some glass cleaner (like windex) to act as a penetrant/lubricant and see if that helps.
