I have the 1996 S500 coupe. When I closed the trunk, it won't close and open, and stays loose there with the handle stuck out, the light of the trunk open switch is on. Is there anyway that I could get the trunk to open like remove the fuses or battery. I don't even know where the battery is, please help ![?] If I can't get it open or close, is there a chance that it will pop out while I am driving ?

Should I buy warranty for this model ?, full cover about $1500 for 4 years, my car is 75k miles. The seller just took care of the evaporator problem.
