My electric sunroof only goes down on passenger rear corner. I can hear motor running but nothing moves other than sunroof right rear dropping.

I tried to retract it using the emergency tool but it just broke the tip off the tool.

How do I get the sunroof to go back. I want to replace the sunvisors and the front headliner part that holds the visors and lamp but I can't retract the sunroof to get at the trim that hold that part.

Help..:surrender:

Sit on it. I think you can turn it without the tool, check and see.

Are you saying I should retract it so that's it's rear is half down and then climb on top of car and sit on the sunroof?

Are you shitting me here :)
It started out as a joke, but come to think of it it might work:D

That or press it down with your hand and see if you can pop it loose.

how to bleed brakes without a master cylinder
Hi, a few things, you posted this in an oooold post agout sunroofs. Might be better to start a new post.

Also, a 1986 300SDL is a W126 car and so you might want to post your question there.

Finally, you cannot bleed your brakes without a master cylinder. Then again, I wonder why you'd need or want to? Maybe you can elaborate on that.

Does anyone realize how old this thread is?
Yes, that's what I said :p

He hasn't come back, so I guess he figured out his brake bleeding issue.
