So, I decided to go with AMG exhaust for my CLK 430. Is it ok to remove the resonator ? I want the exhaust to be a little bit louder, because from what I heard that AMG exhaust is not much diffrent than Stock. Will it pass smog check ?
It will still pass smog if you had the resonator or not. As long as you don't mess with the cat and

forward. Did you order the exhaust from Autoclass already?

Not that I know of. It will definitely change the sound though....also

if you took the resonator out, you'd need a pipe where it used to be to connect the exhaust all together -- that's just a matter of physical connections, no real issues there.
user-33qtno5.dialup.mindspring.com

Any muffler shop.. Get stainless steel (light. lets out heat). Just get twin pipes (if 430/55) to

the muffler
ca-brea5b-177.stmnca.adelphia.net
