Also are there any easy kits, ie you buy the spring, shocks and pads and you car is tighter and slighlty lowered without whacking your camber or dropping your wheel wells on you wheels. My friend ended up having to add additional equipment on his E320 after dropping it. The camber was so far off he would have been replacing wheels every 10K miles

Camber at the rear of the 190's are not "adjustable" so any change in the suspension set up back there is going to need a camber adjustment set up, or you better have a source for cheap tires. The difficulty with the 190's setup is that there are 5 active links to the wheel hub, so dialing the right amount of negative camber can be complicated. RC-Imports sells adjustable links for racing and K-Mac from Australia sells a camber kit for the 190 rear. There are others working on it . . MRP-Engineering in Florida, and possibly some others.

About the only "kit" that won't substantially affect camber is the sportline option, which are just slightly lowered springs (1/4" drop) and HD valved shocks.

Bilstein HD's are valved about the same as MB's Sportlines and the Bilstien Sports are generally only recommended with shortend springs since their stroke length has been reduced.

compromises..

well, it looks like i'll go w/ sportline sway bars & urethane bushings, Bilstein HD's and stock springs. It's my daily driver, I often have to carry 4-5 people (6 once), and I do mostly freeway driving, so that will probably be the best balance between handling and comfort.
