Picked up my new GLK350 6 days ago and someone hit the driver side door and fender, was parked at work parking lot.

No Longer New I guess.

Question I have is should I get it fixed from the dealership or another body shop.

Dude!!! I'm sorry to hear that.

You don't mention it, but if the other person's insurance is gonna pay for it, go with the dealer. No need to risk it with a third-party, since it's a new model; the parts might be hard to get because of it. Just my opinion.

I would go through insurance but the problem is that it was in the parking lot and the person who hit the car didn't stay around. I am going to check cars tomorrow at work to see if I can tell who did it. maybe that way I can go through their insurance.
