Hey Guys,

I need your help with this cel light coming on after I fill up with gas. The code i'm getting is P0442. The thing is, I never top up my tank and the light will turn off as soon as I reach a half tank.

I've recently changed the gas cap, fuel filter and the canister shut off valve.

chynatown, EVAP codes are the most difficult to solve. CodeP0442 shows that there is a small leak in the EVAP system and it could be anywhere.

What you will have to do is find a reputable mechanic who has a smoke machine. The machine introduces smoke and dye into the system showing exactly where the leak is coming from.
