Need a rear differential 1990 300SE

The rear differential on my 1990 300SE is making noise. The car only has 64,000 miles but I was told someone might have over tightened the driveshaft flex disc bolt, if that makes any sense. Is this rear differential only found on the 300SE or is there another car with the same one? Thanks in advance.

Anybody? Does a W123 differential or W124 differential fit? I want power off the line so I want to stick with the 3.46 differential.

I have the 3.46 around here somewhere that you can have for cheap. It was replaced by the 2.47 and I now run it with first gear start when I need it.

I'm not too far from you.
