And so the adventure began on my 2007 Sl-600 R-230 by removing and having Cabriolet Hydraulics rebuild my top lock cylinder above my windshield. Then I had the second leak and removed the left trunk frame lock cylinder and while I had the trunk apart I went ahead and did preventive rebuilds on the trunk lid drive cylinder and the right trunk frame lock cylinder and since I'm OCD I went ahead and installed a new
Pull-Down Motor - Mercedes-Benz (230-820-19-42) which is the flaps, micro-switches included, cables and motor. Filled my hydraulic reservoir and put my trunk back together. Everything operated perfect for a couple of days until I heard a noise behind the drivers seat(left side) american version, and my vario stopped working. I checked the hydraulic fluid and it was almost empty, topped it off again, and still not working and empty again. Thus, I conclude the noise I heard was on the drivers side and was either the left load pawl, or left load assist, or left load drive cylinder has blown a seal. Now the mission is to get into it and replace those 3 and the right top drive, the right load assist, the roll bar cylinder, and the right lock pawl cylinder by sending them off for rebuild. The ones in the trunk were easy enough and I'm aware I will have to take some of the trunk panels apart to get to my hydraulic pump assembly again. Has anyone video'd or taken pictures of the process inside the car as far as taking it apart to access the cylinders? I also documented and have around 187 pictures of the process I completed in the trunk and will be glad to share. Some already were shared under my username. Please help if you have knowledge of a video, pictures, or a diagram pdf file on how it's put together so I can begin the removal process. I've heard once the first one goes, it puts extra pressure on the others and they will domino fail in a matter of time, so I'd just prefer to replace with having mine rebuilt all at once so I won't have to worry about the cylinders again in my lifetime. Thanks in advance and hope my story didn't bore you. Please help.

I did a video on the right lid lock cylinder.

Yes, I've seen your video before! I'm finished with the cylinders in the trunk, and also replace the flap/cable/motor with a new one as well. My next step is the cylinders that are more or less where the back seat would be if there was one in the sides. so the one in the headliner by the front windshield and the 3 in the back are finished. I now have one leaking either the left load assist, or left top drive or left pawl. and I'll want to go ahead and do the right ones as well and the one for the roll bar. Leaks so bad, reservoir won't hold fluid long enough to move vario at all. If I have to I will do manual. Hope I can get to them without though. Guess we'll see come the middle of the week when I am not working. I at my condo in Ft. Lauderdale now and no garage here, so have to work on terms with the weather. I'll update once I get into it. Hate to have to take part of my trunk interior back out to get to lines on the pump, but oh well. Thanks for the share. Good to meet you. I've watched your video several times before I did my trunk cylinders. Helpful for sure. Learn as we go! Have a good night. Garrett

So now according to this pdf, I have 6,7,9,10 to do, and maybe the rollbar one not in the diagram.
