I'm interested in buying the discs. How do I go about using Paypal without this being on eBay?
I'm interested in a set.

I'm interested in a set.

I have a 2000 ML430.

This set will work with my NAV system? Is this back-up set is fully functional? Is there any difference to the originals?

PM sent.
Hey I'm interested. pls send me details.

has anyone successfully recieved a set of nav cd from this guy?
I have, granted I haven't used all 10 (never took my truck out west).

I have used all of the east coast CD's and some of the central states and all worked flawlessly so I have no reason to believe that the others won't work.

I would strongly recommend Donho.
what a rip off. guys, someone buy it and then i'll burn a bunch of copies for everyone.

Got to agree! Benzworld should not allow posts of people that so blatantly break the law.
A rip-off? I'll tell you about a rip-off. It is a rip-off when Mercedes only provides partial mapping data, even with 10 CDs worth of space. Funny how the other mapping softwares can fit total USA coverage on a single CD. It is also a rip-off when Mercedes decides not to issue any more updates to the CD version. We all get to pay $1000+ for a DVD conversion!

I need #5 CD

My #5 CD broke. So I contacted the dealer, they said navtec no longer sell single CD's for $80. I need to buy the set of 10 for $270. I posted on hear begging anyone would burn me a CD, with no reply. If someone is willing to spend the time and effort to burn 10 CD's for me I think it's worth buying him a nice dinner and few beers. I have $67 bucks for DonHo if he contacts me.

you guys are missing my point. but okay. do you.
Thumbs up to Donho!!!

I have used his disk.... no problems to date. I think I got mine in 04 or 05. It was ok when you were able to buy directly from Navtek. Now It is a RIPP OFF to pay the dealer's over inflated price.
my point is that no one should pay someone else for a backup copy. its ridiculous.
Seems perfectly fine to me, Donho's time and materials.

That still doesn't make stealing right.

If you check carefully the "other mapping softwares" fits the data on a DVD, not a CD. For Garmin portable GPS units, the whole US fits in just less than 2G.
Not right, but I am not going to lose any sleep over it. I am sorry, but Mercedes has deliberately left us CD Nav users flapping in the wind, and there is no excuse for the lousy partial mapping coverage in such an expensive navigation system.
