my worst day ever

this morning on my way to work i was at a stop light waiting for the green when i get rear ended by some asshole, hit me so hard he push me into the middle of the intersection. now i out of a car waiting to see what happens.. here are some pic's.

Wow, he smacked you pretty good. Make sure his insurance pays a lot to get it fixed right.

Did your car come with the red engine cover? Mine is black.

Oh man! sorry to see your car like that[V] question though, is that a junk yard? since insurance is going to pay for everything have it tow to the nearest MB dealership.[B)]

Im Ok. I dont think there is any fixing to this car, And if they want to fix it, i really dont want it cause it would never be rite again. Now im just waiting to see what is going to happen with the insurance company. I only had the car two months next week. More than anything my feelings are hurt, this car was my pride and joy.

Sorry to hear that. I'm not sure you can chose to have it fixed or replaced. Insurance will determine if fixing it would cost more than the value of the car. If it does, they will hand you a check. However, it is a good chance you may have the frame damage, so make sure you point out every damage you can think of about the car, so that fixing it would cost more than value. Insurance companies are thiefs, make sure you get the best out of them.

That's too bad about the car. I too live in Jersey and have only had my car for one month, same color. Glad to hear you walked away. It looks like the roof buckled near the back door. It's going to be a tough fix. Are those original rims... 16's or 17's?

yes it buckled, look where the rear door meets the front door, also the drivers seat broke from the impact... yes this are the original rims 17" E430 Sport

Sorry about your car ,my brother,if they do decide to call it 'totaled' ,make sure you find some way of getting the rims. You could sell them in a heartbeat,and it might give you some closure. Good luck with your situation.

A few things come to mind:

(i) I read that this body style was one of the safest passenger cars around, the fact that you are unhurt, and your car carefully buckled without compromising the main cabin is futher proof.

(ii) I have the exact same rims on my 1997 E420, you sir, have excellent taste in wheels.

(iii) The dumbass who ruined your ride should pay you pain and suffering. Any reasonably prudent person under the same or similiar circumstances would be tramatized seeing his ride turned to rubble.

Just my three cents...

that sucks bro..what do you expect from NJ drivers their the worst..lol there best known for tailgating and rear ending people...he got your pretty good but 100% postive that the insurance company is gonna call it a total loss theres no way there gonna fix it.
