let me start off by giving credit were credit is due. OFIVET from this forum had a fantastic idea to put a windscreen from a honda s2000 on his slk. when he sent me the fotos i thought it was so much classier than the ones available for the slk. as an addition ricks2k.com has a screen to fit the bracket that is 6" tall for 89$ i found the windscreen on ebay from a honda scrapyard for 55$.
this install req. drilling 2 holes and inserting 2 screws and nuts.i just lifted the roof cover and stuck my hand inside to ensure i wasnt drilling into anything DONE!
i like the idea that the screen can be foled down so at nite with the top up it doesnt have a glare
tell me what everyone thinks. my bigger screen is on order.

He is coping an idea Linh had a very long time ago. It looks like it was made for our cars and folds down when not needed. Good job but Linh gets the props for this idea!!!!

I have the same, a hand-me-down from our esteemed Bazzle. It looks great and works well. I never fold it down actually as there is no problem with reflections from it.
So, whoever thought of it, it is a great idea.

I think the Honda S2000 mod was one of the 1st mods I did. I think it was in 2003 and Linh told me about it. Great mod and to this day I still think it is one of the best ones to do. Great job Krazy! It will look much better with the chrome roll bars as the OEM roll bars have the slant that does not go with the wind screen while the chrome roll bars look like they were menat to go with the wind sreeen. Still looks good my friend and besides you have the 32!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The way the prices are falling I am about ready to go out and find a Magma red 32!

Dammit Krazy would you stop it my friend. I just bought a brand new 4 runner for my famliy. Saved 5K under dealer invoice. Came with all the bells and gooides. V-8. I called TRD and they are working on a blower for it already. Headers, cat back and the whole nine yards. Only 268bhp but 306 lbs. With the blower it will go up to almost 350bhp but well over 400lbs. It has very comfortable sets. Jet black with a tan interior, moon roof, with accessiores galore. 4% financing. I LOVE IT. My next car is a SL550 for my wife. No its or buts. Or a used SL55 but I hate used cars!!!!!

I'm doing good. Had to put the mods on hold for abit, been doing some upgrades on the house before I deploy (last time before retirement). So, I got to make sure the family's taken care of. I've been tossing up the idea of installing the ASP pulley, new set of Proxes 4 tires, and a new custom exhaust. Also had consider constructing my own own rear adjustable rear camber arms (at a fraction of the cost of the KMAC).
