These are the most common passengers in my old '87 G....The have claimed it as their "trucky". The dog almost always tries to climb in, even if I just cleaning it..he hates the new cars...no idea why.

While struggling to post the photo I forgot to ask the question intended for this thread. Is there any interior cargo bay rubber mat that comes up over the edge of the wheel tubs and the back of the rear seat? I have seen one piece units for 4 runners and other 4x4s that seem to envelop the entire rear cargo bay. Question 2,...Does anyone know of maker of a 2 door specific dog protector divider cage thingy? I just want to preserve the carpet from mud and general dog mess.
Thanks in advance
Peter

Sorry not trying to answer the question but I love your dog. Surely your dog have a good taste of picking which car he wants to be seen by another female dog.[:)]

Is Bruno a Samoyed? I assume it's a Labrador Retriever but dunno if Retriever have white fur?[:)]
Here are some options.

Here are some offerings from ORC.de.

The plastic tub in the picture is in a LWB, but they have a separate part number for SWB's.

The fabric liner is spec'd for LWB only, but you could cut it down or fold it under.

The wire barrier seems like it would fit either long or short wheelbase.

Oh no, it looks like Captain Spalding has kidnapped your dog and your daughter...lol.

Actually, Captain is right. The last I checked, ORC was still offering the rear cargo protector. They might have one for the SWB, but if not then you can always get the fabric liner for the LWB and trim it down.
That is sooooooo funny Captain..That my friend is exactly what I am looking for. To answer your question Tiger, Bruno is a Great Pyrenees in that Photo he is 11 months old and 155lbs (he is a little on the large size for his breed)..He is very mellow, friendly and benevolent with children. I think the reason He likes the old Gwagen in comparison to the new one and the other new cars he has been in, is because he can hear everything that's going on in the car(rattles squeeks and rumbles). Isolation in the back of the new cars makes him whimper constantly.
I am going to call ORC today and order a rubber looking tub.

Thanks so Much!

Peter
