when it is warm outside, my column will move with the blinker up and down. any ideas of how to fix that.

i would appreciate an input on that also. mine has been moving up and down for over a year now.

Do you guys mean the steering wheel goes up and down as if you were using the control on the driver's door?

musikmann, it is not the steering wheel. if you grab and move up and down the lever for turning signal/high beams or the cruise control, the whole plastic covering moves with the hand movement. the movement is about 1 inch up and down. the levers function perfectly fine. mine started doing over a year ago, but i didn't pay much attention to it since i didn't think would hurt anything. would like to know the fix for it though.

Make sure that you don't more the bracket up or out down on the steering column when you tighten it back up. If you do you may end up with unwanted noise when you turn the steering wheel. I had to adjust mine 3 or 4 times before I finally got it fixed.
