Drove my car the other day and all was good...Went home and installed a new dome light...After fixing that I started the car and all of my gauges and info center stopped working....Then the car wouldnt start after that...I charged the battery for a while and she fired right up....Shut it down and restarted...Dead...charged battery overnight and it fires right up...Now the weird thing the power locks, antenna, the cluster mentioned above, the power window door closing crack doesnt work...The roll bar that was not working anyways is half way up now...WTFIdeas???

I would look at the fuses, battery condition and alternator in that order. Did you do any wiring with the dome light or just plug and play? Is it the same part number as the one you replaced?

Thanks Pete, It was plug n" play and the dome light works fine...I removed it just in case...I did find this thread in the meantime http://www.benzworld.org/forums/2371141-post7.html Doesnt mention dash lights and my radio works...Al

I had to resynch the power windows...2 blown fuses...Everything up and running again...Have a check engine light now...Looks like the battery needs replacing...After that I will check the charging system...

My .02 cents. Spend a little extra get a battery from the dealer OR a very high quality battery don't try and save a couple bucks here with these cars.
