my 245/40 -18x8.5 rub not even when i turn... should i buy spacer ? or just change to 235/40 or ...

Change all 4. You can't run too different diameter of tires F and R.

you can run to different side tires, our car do that from the facotry..... what you dont want to do is run two differs size tires on the back.... say 235-35-18 and 235-25-18, can and will cause ring and pinion problems...<br> <br> I would try to heat your plastic up, but If i remember correctly your rubbing on the suspension arnt you???

The tires are different sizes but the overall diameters are the same on the factory setup. (more)

He was asking to use a 235/40 in the front and a 245/40 in the rear. This is too much of a difference in diameter. He did not go dowwn to a 35 series tire in the rear to make up for the difference.
