JOE55 - lol hahah thanks...na but those nails are useful ...esp for takn out my braids and were useful for that fkn hardwire....broke like 2 of em tho tryna uncrimp that blue thing cuz i crimped the wrong wire the first time LOL...

good job on the install. I finally bit the bullet and picked up a V1 last night. I'm thinking I would like to put it somewhere discretely. Under the rearview mirror isn't exactly discrete but it's a popular place. To the side of the rearview is more discrete but it would get in the way of the visor. Then I thought of the lower left area of the windshield where I can see it much easier but the detection may be hampered. I'll probably try to hardwire it to the fusebox, that way (hopefully) I can just plug it into an empty fuse slot and not have to do any splicing.
