Anyways so went shopping time to make my cab enjoyable :) I had the amps and sub already

1.JVC MP3 Player with rds, usb, ipod and 3 sets of rca so I can connect all my amps
2.12" Logic Sub Box
3.Pioneer 500w 6x9's
4.Kicker 4" co-axles (excuse the spelling)
5.Kicker 12" CompVT sub 400RMS @ 2 Ohm
6.4 Gauge Wiring Kit
7.Monoblock Amp 500RMS @ 2 Ohm
8.4 Channel Voltmeter Amp 75RMS per channel @4 Ohm

I was itching to do something so I started with the Sub Box, I removed the Kicker sub from its box and put it in the bigger box for deeper bass as I was using there compact box before.
Foam Tape was placed around the speaker and soldered the terminals with the speaker wire and sealed the hole were the box terminals
are with silicone from the inside so its completely sealed

End product...

I am gonna make a backboard and mount the 6x9's hopefully the mdf board I have is long enough for the shelf

My inspectors are making sure I do it correctly lol

I decided to make a custom backboard to house a set of 6x9's without cutting the metal

Its very possible and you dont need shallow mounting 6x9's either. Took me 4 hours to make but totally worth it !!!

Ok so I pulled the rear interior basically same setup as w126 and w124

Copied the original Backboard to a piece of chipboard

After 4 Hours its done !!!

Been busy the whole day lol

Did some sound deadening to the rear tray

Front Speakers new and old

Rear speakers new and old

To wire this car has truly been hard the backboard/6x9 has issues I need to cut some metal
Need to make mounting area in boot for amps
gonna wire the stereo and test :)

Ok so I am 75% done with the sound install

I removed an aftermarket nokia system and cleaned up the wiring

Radio is in

This radio has the following
*USB with ipod compatibility
*3 RCA Connections
*2.5v output for amps
*3 Band Pre Amp
*2 x Auxallary ports
*Bluetooth compatible going to get my bluetooth device soon :)

6x9 still need work, I need to cut some metal :(

Here is why I need to cut the metal about 10mm on the 1 side of the speaker it sticks out because of this

So this is what I am left with

This car was very similar to my 280se that I did but worse lol. cable install was intense to get neatly done

So what I need to do is :
*Install Blue tooth device
*Create mounting board for the amps in the boot similar to the 280se - a board in front of the fuel tank

The mount you made for your 6" by 9"s looks a lot like mine! Except the only difference is I put my amp right in the middle of them.

Finishing of the sound install

Took me the whole day but its finally done !!!

Since I had no where to mount the amps I made my own design

The mounts

Finished covering it

Mounted and this works well

Cut metal out for 6x9's to fit 100%

Set my radio color to match the switches

Ok so the grille was not sitting flush at all and it aggravated me, click on pic to enlarge

so I investigated further

Problem is that the clips supplied are not the same angle as the original and there was a piece of plastic interfering

Here is the clip

If you look at the plastic grille notice the area were I cut it

I also bent the mounts and corner of the grille to get that flush look

Also remember to use the Original Clips

Cheers
