The wheels only weigh about 16 lbs. each, it's not always about looks............
sometimes it's about what works best for acceleration or better track times.
Here's a case where Pat really lowered unsuspended weight, and that's a very good thing.
By the way, I don't think they look bad at all.

Lightweight alloy rims that are 13.4 lbs each. As compared to my other rims which were close to 30 lbs each. Which is a total weight reduction of 66.4 lbs.
The appearance is nothing like a gentleman I know w/ the AMG split spokes on his immaculate 16vlv []
