Hey Everyone,
I picked this up off of craigslist. They wanted $2,500. But the blower was out and wiper didn't work. I gave $1,800 and paid 700 for parts and labor to get the parts replaced with used ones here at Shuler in Fayetteville,Ar.

Now I have to figure out why the compressor is not receiving power. Check all relays. "getting power" and Mas Relay "Working".
Engine purrrs.. and the Tranny is stong.

150,000 miles. It has a differencial release, because the life of this car was a tow car behind a BUS. So the miles are not reality.

What do you think?

PS>> I want to get some springs and lower it for better handling and get a Cold air intake system. Do you guys know who makes the Cai for this car?

Looks like a pretty good score. That interior looks great!

Say...if you ever want to sell the drivetrain de-coupling mechanism, the part which allows the differential to not spin the transmission, drop me a line, because if we start traveling, again, I'll need to convert my E320 to 'toad' duty.

towed car = toad

I was thinking about this yesterday, in fact. You may find in the front bumper area, brackets which allow a tow bar to be attached, too. Likely custom-built, and if brackets exist, and a '90 coupe = '95 sedan, I'm potentially very interested in those, too!

Don't let it having been towed an unknown number of miles put you off. Towed miles are gentle on the car, overall, though it does introduce unregistered wear on wheel bearings and the like. Usually not a big deal, honestly, but be aware of it, just to be safe.

Did you check the MAS relay by sustituting with a known Good relay? If not I dont know of any other way to test other than at a dealer... if it IS good,,, then I would look at the RPM sensor on the back center of the compressor, that will kill them also as well as all the connecting wiring, and better yet, did you try a pushbutton panel? these are all common problems... good luck.

Looks like a nice smoke silver/mushroom leather example. Same as my TE#1. Congratulations.
As for the CAI, don't waste your time and money. And potentially damage your engine. Leave those to the rice rocket bench racers.

You can't get any colder intake than the one installed on your car. Study it. The air intake is just behind the grill between the left headlight and radiator. Can't get any colder. Nice find and you will enjoy the car.

Good Luck,

Jayare
