...well as of yesterday, car started misfiring and feels like I'm towing a 5ton trailer...dog slow off the line, won't even kick down...wow...sigh. Time to search the forum and see whats going on :(

Will the KIA outperform the 420 in a 10 car pileup on an expressway??? I know you don't drive the 420 for the gas mileage, you drive it because it is SAFE,FAST and BIG. Get it fixed! IT will still be cheaper than a new car.

...so true. My daughter is still amazed at the rear space in this car and hates when we take the KIA for an errand :confused:...kids.

Could both things be due to a simple vacuum leak somewhere? I say simple with tongue in cheek obviously. But from what people say on here the shifts are controlled by vacuum, and the idle too; i dont know how that might produce a misfire though.

...yeah, Im looking at all possible solutions. Sometimes these events happen at the same time...just bad luck I guess. The timing may be off as well...so that could be the problem.

...well all is good, plugs and wires, engine flush/fresh oil a little seafoam in the tank and intake....running nice!!:thumbsup:

Good deal... I'll bet that you will be getting rid of that 06 KIA before you give your 420 to your kids!! I love this car!!
