Anyone know where I can get these - I've searched the net (nada), e-bay (nothing), and my local MB says they're discontinued.

The factory mudflaps are great, I snagged the set off of my brother's CE and put them on my TE. I would try calling Caliber Motors in CA. I believe the parts guy is Tony if I remember correctly. They can find a lot of parts. Or even try the classic center. If they can find parts for the old classics I don't see why they couldn't find you some mudflaps, there have got to be some out there, and quite frankly I would go factory flaps or nothing.

There was a set on ebay last week. I think the asking bid was $100 for the 4 piece set. They were OEM parts. You might search a little deeper.

Good Luck,

I have purchased them

POS,

I purchased a beautiful OEM set, factory installation instructions included on Ebay (Shops NOT auction items) for around 165US$ in February. I've seen them posted since, so you might keep your eye on this seller and/or description, or just contact the seller and see if they can still be had. Great quality parts, perfect fit on my 1992 400e. Slight initial rubbing on tires when on bumpy roads, probably caused by slightly wider than standard tires.

Exact Description Postede: "Mercedes W124 300E E320 400E AMG Euro Mud Flaps Kit"

Seller ID: fourbyfourclub

Best of Luck

Thanks for that - I saw that e-bay ad once, but I was leery. Nice to know that they're legit. Thanks.

Do you have any photos of yours? I'd love to see it.

Excellent - thank you. Those are exactly like the ones I saw on e-bay - now I know they're OEM.

Do you recommend getting mud flaps for your W124 or does it make the car look too old fashioned?
I love mine, they look rugged yet sporty at the same time! ...but they do scraaaaaaaape

lol, you scrape those?

i've scraped mine i half.

Does the snow get packed in there though? My car is stock so I don't think it would scrape.
Snow gets packed in everywhere, but falls out when it builds enough. The flaps prevent the snow from building up on your rear bumper/front door.

Every speed bump and sharp corner I've encountered

I was surprised too because my car has stock springs/shocks and the wheel/tires aren't that small....hmm but I've just learned to accept it, those flaps sure can take a beating! though I've had to refit a clip once or twice

I haven't had mine in snow yet but they have grooves on the inside of them designed to make the snow/mud slide off... at least I think that's what those are for

Clips are great too. They just "snap" on and off. I like them on my wagon.

I knocked a mudflap off last weekend. How do you refit them? I can't get the clips to "separate." they have one-way notching in them.

I could sure use a set of these mud flaps as we live on a dirt road and this winter, the mud has been worse than normal.

Same flaps, getting mounted up on the Black wagon today!

Not a good upgrade for lowered cars imo, but with stock height suspension these mud flaps are great!
