I have bought some mud flaps all round however, the arches are finished in a plastic trim, I dont suppose i can just attach them to this surely?

Don't really fancy taking trim off? Any ideas?

You could attach with self tapping screws but there is no real need for mudflaps unless you plan going off road.

For normal road use they tend to collect mud and dirt and cause rust at the bottom of the wheel arches unless they are removed and cleaned regularly.

My advice is don't bother.

Gina,
The original mud flaps fitted to W202 C-class are secured by self tapplng screws into the bottom of the wheel arch liner, also there are steel clips which clamp the top edge of the flap to the wheelarch , if your flaps are original they should have come with all parts for fitting.
