Try using a CD not a DVD blank. The single slot will play CD and MP3. My bet is that it can;t read the TOC of the DVD.
Well that is easy because iTunes does it automatically. Under Edit, Preferences hit the Burning tab and select MP3 CD and burn away.Snowball - 3/17/2005 2:37 PM
I have all my iTunes in AAC format (320kbps). The SLK only plays MP3 not AAC (I am assuming). do you know of a way to burn MP3 from an iTunes library that is all AAC?
Also if you want to do a MP3 DVD (not CD) there is a workaround. Under Edit, Preferences hit the Importing tab and select bit rate (I would use 320Kbps only). Make a new Playlist named MP3 and copy all the songs you want to convert to it. Highlight all the songs and right click and select Convert to MP3 from the menu. This will create a MP3 copy and leave your native (AAC files) songs intact. After conversion look in the folder of each group (Using Windows Explorer) and you will see a new file with the same name but with a .mp3 extension. Copy these files to your DVD and then go back to the Main Library (Not the MP3 Playlist) and delete the MP3 songs.Snowball - 3/17/2005 2:37 PM
