Mount grille badge on sport grille

Hi, Has anyone mounted grille badges on the sport grille, we dont have the small mesh squares the way older mb sedan grills have and I'm trying to figure out a solution. If I have to I coud mount the badges on the black honeycomb grill below the bumper but I would rather have them higher up.

Thought the Brits and the Italians had stopped doing the car badge thing back in the 1960's.
