Hi, Has anyone mounted grille badges on the sport grille, we dont have the small mesh squares the way older mb sedan grills have and I'm trying to figure out a solution. If I have to I coud mount the badges on the black honeycomb grill below the bumper but I would rather have them higher up.
Thanks,
Jason

I haven't seen grill badges on cars in decades. I still have an MG one in my garage somewhere. Car is long gone but the badge remains.

I'm assuming the "grill badge" is a necessity or convenience for easy entry at the country club? I still see them used for that purpose today.

They don't have much purpose today, never had much, like a high-class bumper sticker. But I have several on my '72 280SE 4.5 and being a bit of a collector of them wanted to add a bit of the "old school" to the c300.

If I figure out a secure way to mount them without damaging the grille I'll post notes.

Maybe some sort of L bracket and epoxy or pop rivit it nto the bottom of one of the fins? There really isn't much to mount onto behind the grill. They used to have badge bars back in the day.
