Dropping in the motor.. see other thread.
Part 2:
bolting up intake parts and the such.

6pm


cleaned the intake chamber and its bolted up with the egr pipe:



yes i am standing on the motor...



My original throttle:

its just as dirty as my old one.

Nice! Glad to see it's comming along.
Wouldn't hurt to clean the intake while you have it apart

pics are of the JY intake i had mine soaking in gas overnight to clean it which is now installed. the throttle is sitting in carb cleaner so tomorrow it sould be clean..

yea im excited. now i need to find a new headunit for it because i took the one that was in it and threw it into the subie, insurance is only 50 more for 6 months...

Old vacuum lines and connectors get very brittle. Some of them are a PIA to get to.
It might be a good to replace while you got everything off. Its easy and inexpensive.

It looks like you installed the electric heater sandwiched between the head and manifold. I would skip on it. Its sort of restrictive and purely an emissions device. I've been running without it for a while. Otherwise :thumbsup:
