Let's have some fun with this one...

The scenario: The world is getting quickly overrun with zombies. You and the family have to get from point A to point B (500 miles) as you are running out of supplies. You have hidden your Mercedes in the garage and it has a full tank of Diesel (or gas). Knowing that you may encounter hostile humans, hungry zombies and crappy fuel... you are not looking forward to the trip.

Which Benz is best suited for this kind of work? Diesel? Brand new gasser? Old school?

Personally I'm inclined to believe that a W123 chassis (not an E-class.. I know) ... say early 80s... 300D or 300TD with a manual transmission would be the most durable. Also, the tolerances in the engine are so loose that even really poor quality diesel fuel would still allow the motor to run.

What say you? :rocketwhore::flamg:
