I've got new 500s and I hate the thing. It constantly needs to be reset, I keep a paperclip in the glove box for my daily resets. The integrated bluetooth randomly switches from the bluetooth to the phone and if you load a playlist after a few songs it will drop and just start playing all music on the iPod (it does this with my phone or my iPod).

Anyhow, I'm thinking about replacing it with the mobridge, but before i got to all that effort I'd like to know if it's any better?

Assuming your car has a MOST bus, something is wrong either with your installation for the problems you describe, or you have a bad unit.

Please complete your profile via the user Control panel (User CP) - withiut the model year of your car and at least the continent you live on, it is difficult to help - especially with electronics issues.

The 500 worked fine minus the fact that the Bluetooth was not very usable. At this point I can either roll back to 500 and skip the Bluetooth or go with another option. I've spent enough time on the 500s.

The install is correct as the installation worked fine with 500.

Anyhow, is the mobridge any better?

Actually come to think about it the issue with it dropping the playlist and the Bluetooth started with this last firmware update. I wonder if I can download the old version and roll back.

When the dension would no longer work with my iPod touch upgraded to iOS 6 I figured that was the final straw. Bought the mobridge and so far I am much happier with it. Playlists aren't 5 screens of holding the fast forward button and bluetooth seems to be much better, but I haven't used it enough to make that call. Will update as i've had more time with the mobridge.
