wife has ml320...i could not resist. so i just bought myself 2006 ml350. i got a good deal because it has 81k miles. i purchased 2 year 24k miles warranty for $2,048 it covers engine, transmission, transfer case, and drive axles. I have 60 days that i could cancel and get my $2k back. I am going to try to get service records tomorrow. i couldn't get saturday. i think if oil was changed regularly there is not much risk in not having warranty.

What do you think? I have maintained wifes ml320 for last few years and probably will not have too much trouble maintaining the ml350 so i can't decide.

Thoughts?

I purchased Mercury as my extended warranty. It was recommended by my service rep at the dealership. I would get a second quote with them.

For 2k you should be able to get more extensive coverage, I got mogi and for $1500 I am covered almost bumper the bumper(very little that they don't cover)
