That's tiresome. And expensive.

My 2008 has had after just 65k miles:
Small oil leak
Both trans cooling lines replaced.
Broken rear latch... twice
Small PS fluid leak.
Rear spring broken (both replaced)
Broken window switches on drivers side.
Device to re-route cooling fluid to radiator replaced.
Rear seat belt jammed (oil fixed it after MB offered to fix it for $700)

Having said that... it's always worked.

Modest fixes by comparison. Still, I'm reminded that my 1999 Civic had precisely no problems after 112K miles and only oil/ filter changes at a Jiffy Lube type place (and of course a battery/tires/pads/wipers).

I still like my W164 though.

PD

Sympathy to you Marmalade. When we buy Mercedes we expect quality. Unfortunately, throwing more money for repairs, the inconvenience & insult when your Merc breaks down or loose a function will turn people away.

Oh, and the latch broke on the arm - rest of the center console.

And the CD player broke.

That's 12 non-routine faults after 9 years and 65k miles with/ despite full servicing by MB.

I wonder if the cars from Sturtgart fare better on average?

Ml350 2009 no spark cylinders 3 and 6

hi,
i stepped on the gas and i got the check engine light on then the weird vibration, i lost two ignition coils, i got them replaced, spark plugs r fine and cables r fine too, i got them checked, i still don't have signal to the ignition coils on both 3 and 6 (no spark).
Is the ECU damaged in ur opinion?

Was there any repair done to the truck prior to the problem?

Did you have to jump the battery for any reason prior to this problem?
