My 2002 ML surges at steady throttle, I have changed plugs with recommended Bosch, air filter and EGR. I put pressure gauge on fuel rail, pressure at idle in park is 69psi, once transmission is placed in drive, the pressure goes crazy with approx 15psi fluctuation. Could this be fuel filter?
Tape gauge to the windshield and take it for a drive. Do few full throttle runs. See what happens to pressure. Check if fuel pump gets steady voltage supply.
