SCR is the NOX trap. It usually means your urea is old and needs to be changed out. I just siphon it out and replace with a fresh jug of 2 1/2 gallons. Tank size is 7 gallons total so buy your jugs accordingly so you don't overfill.

Not at all. That code is for the NOX trap aka Adblue/Urea/Def. The Urea goes bad after a while so you should siphon out the old stuff and put in fresh. MB service schedule has us topping off at 10k and full replacement every 20k. So every other oil change replace the fluid. Instead of doing that I only fill 2 1/2 gallons at a time and refill at the low level light. This keeps the fluid fresh negating the siphoning/replacement. If you are doing a long road trip and/or towing then you should fill with 5 gallons so you don't run out. Should you get low, you can purchase Def/Urea at any truck stop.

When I purchased my '09 Blue Tech it had sat for nearly a year between an auction and used car lot. It didn't take long for that code to pop up. Siphoned out the Urea, replaced with new and the code went away. I verified this with the MB Star software.

Thanks. I will try.

I got this car in March. But it was sitting before that for almost 1.5 for sale, than I didn't drive much. Well I had msg showed somewhere in May/June but I didn't test with MB Star system, it was general code for the diesel cleaning system. So than again in July/ August, and few days ago, so I decided to test with Star system, at least to know a real MB code.

The Def/Urea is cheap. Less than $10 for 2.5 gal at Walmart here where I live. You should be able to find it retail nearby. Get a clean hose and siphon out the old. Put in fresh and you will be good to go.

I scanned with iCarsoft MB II so far no faults. Another thing I did reset DPF, so there are some values I got , Ash - 0 and Filter fill is 7 grams.

Anyone knows what is max limit for the MB DPF filters?

It seems to me a very low number - 7 grams, since I had VW Passat TDI and it had at 30,000 miles already 10 ml, which same as grams.
May be is wrong reading by computer ?

One last try here. The SCR is not the DPF. The SCR is down stream of the DPF and it is a separate system entirely. The DPF collects soot, the SCR collects NOX (Nitrogen Oxide) Look here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selective_catalytic_reduction

Change out the Urea/AdBlue/DEF (if you haven't already) in the tank where the spare tire would normally be located.

Yes I understood about Urea system.
I was just pointing out on new discovery since I got iCarsoft MB II.
So my question is who know what is fill limit for the DPF filter before it will need to either replace or clean?
