Post # 22 in front of the engine. What's Camshaft sensor? Is that different from CPS? I see the Camshaft sensor on my ML500
You are confusing yourself. The Crank Position Sensor is properly known as the CKP Sensor and the Cam Position Sensor is properly known as the CMP Sensor.. There is no such term as CPS. It was an invented term that has been carried down, but it is improper. See the list below and you will see that there is no CPS.

If you want to change the CKP Sensor, follow the instructions I posted.

OE brand is Bosch..Hella is very acceptable

The OE brand is Bosch, but Hella is very acceptable/no problems - not like a "no name" sensor. Hella has been supplying the Chrysler sensors for awhile, probably the same OE factory really.

$45 is about the right price in your hands.. autohausaz.com is like $39 + UPS from Arizona..

Go for it, follow the stickies, think small hands.. and should be all to the good !
