I have an ML320CDI with the AMG sports package and 20'' AMG wheels. I want to install spacers on all wheels to make the wheels align with the fenders better. 1) Anyone know of any spacers that can be installed on the 2006+ ML and what would be the ideal size? (thinking of 25mm) 2) Will i have rubbing issues or any other problems? 3) If i install the wheel spacers myself will my insurance be void?

Thanks

Looks are more important than engineering and safety, right?

You'll of course need new wheel bolts, too.

Among "other problems" will be ruined handling.

If the spacers cause mechanical problems, then both warranty and insurance related to whatever happened will indeed be void.

lkchris, thanks for the reply

isn't the handling supposed to be improved when there is a wider wheel base as well as reduce the body roll?

Yes, this is my main concern. But could they cause such problems?

Agreed, best to avoid spacers. That's a huge spacer, certainly could lead to problems. It will be difficult to find long enough lug bolts.
