My Cab came equipped with the adjustable air bladders in both front seats but two of the buttons on the passenger side have gone missing (probably sucked up by an overly zealous vaccuum jockey). Any ideas on replacements?

Dealer item.
When I bought my CLK used it was missing three of them. They don't stay on very well. I think I paid about $5 each. I might put a dab of glue on them as they continue to come loose.

Dealer says not available separately

My MB dealer says the buttons are not available separately and wants to sell me the entire switch assembly (major $$$). If you give me contact infor for your source, I'll go to them. Thanks

That's strange. Maybe we have different seats. In the 2004 CLK55 they are called multi-contour so they have 4 switches per seat. Thighs, lower back, upper back and bolsters to keep you from sliding around.

What model year do you have? I can look up the parts catalog for you.

For a 209 model the part is #A 169 870 03 10 and it's called a Knob

Multi-contour seats

We have the same seats. Mine is a 2004 CLK320 Cab. I'll contact my dealer with that part no. and see what they say. Thanks

Dealer response

Thanks for the information. As soon as I gave my dealer the part number, they said "No problem, how many do you want to order?" Amazing!

Glad to hear it. By the way access to the entire Mercedes parts catalog is free.
Go to the following link and subscribe. http://epc.startekinfo.com. There are two options but the one for the US is free. It will ask for credit card info but it is not charged.

It's great to be able to see all the diagrams and parts before you go to the dealer.
