Somehow, the plastic cover that you first take off/move when accessing the assembly for the cabin air filter in my wife's 2006 E350 has gone missing-no idea how that could have happened, but I would like to replace it. I noticed it was missing when I replaced the cabin filter.

I looked at the corresponding part on my 2007 and found two numbers-A211 830 18 13 and A211 832 07 08.

I could not find any reference to it on search. Those numbers tend to bring up hits about cabin air filters, but not about a cover over the air filter assembly.

Can someone please tell me what that cover is called so I can try to find one?

Many thanks as always. I think it is actually the cover that goes over the top of the filter bowl. #580 or 620? Held down by three little plastic turn screws.

There is a corresponding one of different shape on the driver side. I think it is mostly a dust cover.
