Hello I'm new to the forum and this is my first post.
I have a '02 C320 and I'm trying to find out how to replace the broken turn signal lens that's mounted to the side mirror body. I can't find any screws holding it in place, and it doesn't appear to snap off. Does anyone have any details on how to do this or know of a link where to find repair/replacement instructions? Also anyone know a good place to get a replacement (besides dealer)?
Thanks

I don't have the specifics so a search would help but my understanding is that fold the mirror housing in and there's a clip that you remove and hope you don't lose a finger in the process so you may want to have someone hold the mirror for you while you remove the clip. this releases the housing from the mirror body so you can remove/replace the lights.

Here are some easy steps to remove your mirror housing. To add chrome, change the LED signal, and moddify your light pipe if you want...This seems like and easy job and it is...
Jake

1. grind a small # 1 phillips screw driver to develop a small flat at the nose

2. cut a small section of .25 - .375 tube into a two (2") inch section

3. bend mirror housing back toward the rear of the car, insert the small section of tube onto the nipples / tabs located in the mirror frame and mirror hinge

4. insert a long flat blade screw driver from the front end of teh vehicle into the mirror housing. locate a molded in key way to a small .75 inch vertical metal tab. move that tab inboard toward the vehicle and gently begin to slide mirror housing back. to not bend the spring clip - that is the retainer for the mirror housing unit.

5. remove the old, stock, etc. LED case with the ground phillips screw driver - or do what ever it is you have to do...

6. make sure the clip will retain the housing, it should be self loading and ready.

7. reinstall!

It's the lens from the W211, doesn't that seem obvious to you? If you don't know what they look like, find a W211 (newer E-class) and see if you like that better than whatever you were going to put in there.
