Anyone in the area? I have a car I need a set of eyes on and for the life of me I can't find anyone who lives in Minneapolis. The car itself is near Golden Valley, a burb northwest of the downtown area.

Don't need an inspection, just a third party to verify the condition of the car.

Sorry I don't really know any W140 people up there. I know on YouTube there's a company called VIP Systems up there somewhere in Minnesota who did a nice overhaul on a W140 (search "Minnesota Masterpiece" on YouTube). Maybe they'd be willing to help you.

I can pay an inspection service to go check it out and take lots of pictures if I wanted, but I would prefer to have someone who is a "car person", even better, an MB person.

There is second generation MB indie shop close by that I might end up just having them do a PPI for me for grins.
