That's the only reason I didn't get black, I'm lazy and don't want to wash it every week. Iridium silver does a great job covering the dust, I find myself washing it every third week unless it rains, speaking of a wash and rain. I washed my car yesterday and it looks like it's going to be raining soon..NewMB said:I've got the basic black (non-metallic) and black interior. Really love the combination. Just be forewarned, though. It's a full-time job trying to keep it looking nice. I wash my car at least once a week and use the California Duster every day. Other than that, no complaints.
Hey Ynot - You jinxed yourself. Happens every time! Of course, up here in the Pacific Northwest, we get rain just about every other day, so it doesn't matter when you wash your car.Ynot said:I washed my car yesterday and it looks like it's going to be raining soon..
yeah, I guess I did, I found out that weather.com and the local weather forecast is only accurate 'at the moment.' That's twice in two weeks, they made a mistake. Last week, when I checked the weather it said it'll be 80 degrees and sunny the next day and sure enough, it rained all day. Same with today, the forecast was suppose to be partially cloudy, 65 degrees and right now it's raining and has been since two hours ago. Oh well, guess I'll wash it again next week.NewMB said:Hey Ynot - You jinxed yourself. Happens every time! lol.. apparently so.. somebody needs to tell them to stop spending millions for dopler radars and satellite equipment if it doesn't worl.Duo-Art said:Ynot, Didn't you know that weather forecasters use a big wheel, kind of like the
T V show Wheel of Fortune to forcast the weather. At least it seems that way in Chicago. Spin the wheel and whatever comes up is the forecast for tomorrow.
