Hello all,
I recently purchased a 1993 Mercedes-Benz 300TE Wagon, and it has a rear facing seat in the back. I am curious if there is any way to remove this seat to make more storage room in the back??
I have found a means of lowering the cushions, but that still leaves the seat, which I really do not have any use for, and I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to get rid of that seat to make extra space in my automobile.... :help:
I am concerned that this seat is a permanent fixture in the vehicle, :crybaby2: and cannot be removed, but I am hopeful that this is wrong!! :surrender:

It always folds down - unless this is some odd third party thing. But you can make it "go away" without removing it.

There's a latch behind the rear seat - release it and it all folds into the floor. I don't have instructions handy but look in your owners manual or find one on line.
