By the way,

I like your 300CE very nice! what size of rims do you have on yours?

I am not sure if I sould go with 17" or 18" I noticed you live in ontario like me(Kingston) is there a Mercedes club in Ontario?

18 x 8 (35MM offset) AMG replicas with 225/40-18 Falken FK-452's
No problem, no rubbing, as long as you use the correct offset and not run too wide of a cross section tire.
Car will be lowered with H&R sport springs. Pix show using Bilstein HD's.

Thanks to all, for your input very much appreciated, Just order a set of 18" AMG replica. they are 18" x 8.5, plan to put 225/40/18 in the front and 245/40/18 in the back. According to the dealer the will fit perfectly.
Next step I guess will be to lower the suspension,

Hmm...

Someone should make a sticky about wheel related questions.

Anyways, I wouldn't even put 245's in the rear. then again - not my car.
