Went to a specialist R107 breakers today for a few bits. Had an impressive sad yet beautiful collection of cars rotting away. Thought I'd share a few pics.

Offered the guy a couple of pence (small amount of British currency) for a gorgeous Becker Corona radio installed in one of these. Unfortunately he was wise as to the value of all the parts.

This guy had a huge barn full of parts. Everything you could imagine. Was like an Aladdin's cave of old Merc tat. Only euro cars though I think. Here's his ebay page: alfredsiegl99 items

Nothing is particularly cheap but he'll do you a deal if you're forceful enough. He did a straight swap with the wrong servo that I bought from elsewhere. (Which I was impressed with).

It's in North Norfolk. Near Wizz-beach. Is run by a seriously old German guy who knows his onions (though he didn't believe me that my '81 380SL has ABS).

... It technically doesn't have ABS at the moment, does have the warning light though.
