I recently bought a bunch of Mercedes parts from a small shop going out of business. I got them at pennies on the dollar. A good deal of them had parts numbers AND descriptions but quite a few only have part numbers. Is there a way to get a description for a lot of part numbers using the internet instead of calling the dealer and pestering them? Maybe a site that has a part # look up?

Thanks!

MB part numbers, description, price

The MB Classic Centre in Germany has a section on their website where you can enter a part number and get a very brief (often vague) description and current German price in Euros.

Go to:
http://www.mercedes-benz.com/e/mbclassic/default.htm
Then on the left side menu click on "Classic Centre" then "Spare Parts Retail". Then on the right side menu click on "Spare parts availability". This will open a new window where you can enter a part number. Don't forget to put the letter (usually A) before the number (eg. A1244010902 for a W124 Sportline 7" alloy wheel).
