i have a 1989 300e i want to put some nice rims on this car. i was look to get some 20" chrome rims. is there anything i should know (space,lug nuts,wrong size) before i spend $1500 on rims and tires

How old are you?
Are you serious? 20" chrome rims.

If you want to improve your Merc. funtionally and asthetically, Buy some "Real" rims and tires.
By saying real I mean AMG, Brabus, or BBS with some quality tires like Continentals or Michellins.
Don't ruin your Merc. with bling bling.

Just kidding man, It's "your" car..

w124 body style does not look good with anything bigger than 18"s [:D]

get some 17" amg's it will look awesome

Once you go with bigger than 17'rims, the 300E starts looking awkward and fuuny! Get yourself a set of AMG's or something classy!
Just puttin-in some of my 2SENSE DAWG!!!!!

Ok, 20 inch on a 300E is a stretch. I added 18 inch wheels to my car. Check out my cardomain page on how I customized my 300E.
