When I step on the peddle there's a delay in acceleration (like 3 seconds). When I ease up it will quickly hult. For example I would be going 40mph and ease up on the peddle and the car would quickly drop to 10mph in a second (I don't even brake at red lights cause of that). The peddle is in good condition. It doesn't roll forward while in drive and my foot isn't on the brake. I don't know if it's normal for this model not roll when not stepping on the brake How do I fix a problem such as this. (Images below. Sorry for the poor condition, the owner before didn't take care) Vehicle Car Engine Auto part

Hello, welcome to the forum. I'm afraid this is the section for recommending repair shops by region.

You'll need the W123 section to get the help you need. Lots of knowledge there for you.

All the best.

Have you checked your brakes because you may be experiencing sticking calipers, just put your hand near each rim after driving it for a short period of time to feel if there is excess heat coming from them. I had similar issues with my 85 and wound up replacing all 4 calipers, flex hoses and since I was there I also replaced the master cylinder just because I replaced everything else.
Welcome and hope you get it sorted out.

Check the part in the picture. If it is not pulling out remove it from the fire wall and inspect the plastic ball. Usually the plastic ball is falling apart. Also some places are listing that part as no longer available and you need to have the one for your year and model because there is at least 3 different versions of it.
