I understand the current ownership (or controlling share) of AMG by Mercedes, but how far back does the relationship between the 2 companies go --- wasn't AMG involved in the MY86-87 production of the 16V 190? GreggT

I know the 16v 190 engine has a Cosworth head but did Mercedes actually give them the whole car to tune? Seems kinda strange that AMG was marketing products for the 190 at that time that looked identical to Mercedes (yet Mercedes actual tuned car came from Cosworth?). GreggT

    I cannot shift out of park unless I use manual shift override. Once I do the car goes into limp mode. I've done a trans pan and filter change. There was no fluid in the TCM but when I had it diagnosed the shop said there was no signal going to the TCM. Any advice???
