The cars rpm jumps up and down when the car is in idel.
When I hit the gas the car hastates for a second and then slowly kicks in.

Anyone got any thoughts?

I had this issue with my C280. This is what had to be done:

1) Replaced Ignition Coils
2) Changed Spark Plugs

Not sure if this would fix your issue.

hesitation

My 500 hesitated almost like the brake was applied, I did not believe untill it happend to me. New caps rotors and plugs and its gone, the plugs were not bad but caps & rotors were corroded, not cheap but nothing on the car is. The plugs were replaced under the maintenance program with this car but caps and rotors were not.I would pull a cap if its green inside clean or replace.
