Does anyone have the MCS pinout for the MY2000? I have a 98ML320, did the MCS CD NAV upgrade, and now wish to add a phone kit for my Treo 600. However, I need the pinout so I can figure out what I'm doing - I searched the forums, and I know I 've seen it here before, but I can't find it.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance,
Ian

Installing a Seidio 2500M Car Kit for a Treo600 on a Kuda phone base. I will post the DIY and pix... I am using a cassette adapter in the MCS for stereo connectivity, but it has a speaker as well. I just don't like FM modulators.... Going to pull 12v from behind the 12v socket in the passenger well, nd run the microphone behind the MCS (or should I use the built-in? Has anyone done that? Or would the sound be superior from the included mic in the kit?) up the driver's A column.

I have tried using the ML’s built-in mic and had no luck. In two different cell phone hands-free kits, the sounds was always better with the included mic. I even isolated the ML’s mic from the telematics system and it was still not good. I guess it is a difference in impedance, and I just never bothered to investigate it.

Done, here's the pix.

Install was easy, took power from behind the 12v outlet in the passenger well. The phone base is the Kuda phone base, $62.00.

Note, don't turn the volume all the way up or you'll get terrible feedback!

That's a 2001 MCS as I recall. A 2000 MCS is a bit different. Here's the pinout:
