I got a nice surprise this afternoon when my mileage award arrived. I had sent in the form a couple months ago and kinda forgot about it, sometimes it good to have a short attention span. Got a nice grill badge, certificate and letter from Classic center manager Michael Kunz.

Thanks for posting the link jaymaynard. Download and complete the form and bring to your local dealer with your car, pink slip and ID. They will verify mileage and sign the form for you to mail to Mercedes, address is shown on the form. I was at a little over 206000 miles at the time. My dealer said they had not had anyone apply in recent memory.

My car was the FIRST "high kilometerage" form the new St. George, Ut dealer verified and signed. They merely looked at my registration, my ID and of course the odometer. My car had about the same mileage your's has.

Over the years these awards have been available at several different kilometer totals. Here's one on my 1956 300 SL.
I like the license plate mount and the ride it is mounted on!

It seemed like they were not sure if I was for real on my visit or maybe trying to figure out who was to sign it off.
But they treated my wife and I very nice while we waited.

Different dealers handle it differently. I've gotten two of them, and had two different dealers sign them off. One dealer had the sales manager sign; the other, the service department manager. They both knew what it was, though.

MPG (my parts guy) signed off on mine AND put it in the inter-office mail.

I guess the Old Brown Bear does not need as many parts as the Pig cause my MPG don't do me like that
I renewed every mechanical system on The PIG over the years. I have been a friend of the Mercedes parts department.
I still buy my oil and filters there A) because the cost is the same or less than other sources and B) I keep my friendly relationship with John MPG. He gives me 15% on everything, as well.

I got one on my first MB, an '87 300E. I went to the dealer service dept, they walked out and verified the mileage, signed the form and even faxed it in to MBUSA for me.
No registration or pink slip required.
